Counseling Services

The mission of the Office of Counseling Services is to promote the mental health and personal growth of LIM Students through counseling, outreach, and wellness services. We also support the overall health and wellbeing of students by providing access to health resources, reviewing medical withdrawal requests, and confidential storage of immunization records.

The Office of Counseling Services is currently providing hybrid services with appointments available both in person and remotely through Zoom Healthcare. Consultation appointments are available to all enrolled students and their parents. Ongoing counseling is available only to students in person or remotely to students located in New York State.

If you urgently need to speak with one of our counselors during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm), please call (646) 218-6048 or go to the 14th floor of Maxwell hall and someone will assist you. Should you need to speak with a crisis counselor outside of regular business hours, you can access free, immediate, and confidential support by calling or texting the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. If this is a clinical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
