Applying as a transfer student.
Are you looking for a change in your learning environment? Is your current school not the right fit for you? Have you earned an associate degree and are now ready to move on? LIM College is the perfect destination for transfer students and we know how to make your transition seamless.
Common Questions
You are a “transfer” applicant if you are currently, or have ever been, enrolled in a college or university as a degree-seeking student. (If you have taken college courses as a non-degree student or during high school, you should apply as a freshman.)
Our Transfer Services team will help determine which of your college credits will apply towards your LIM degree (We have a generous transfer policy, so probably most or all of them!)

We accept applications on a rolling basis, up to the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester until all openings are filled. However, we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible because our class sizes are limited. Once you submit all application materials, we’ll notify you of our decision within 2-4 weeks.

- LIM College has a test optional policy for admission, which means you can decide whether or not to submit your SAT or ACT scores. If you choose to submit, scores can be used to support your admission application AND/OR they can be used to evaluate academic placement should you decide to enroll at LIM.* When you complete your admissions application you may indicate if and how you would like us to use the score(s) by choosing one of the following options:
- I will submit test scores and want them reviewed with my application materials.
- I will send or have sent test scores but do not want them reviewed with my application materials.
