Summer Fashion Program Housing
LIM College offers housing to mature, responsible students in our state-of-the-art 1760 Third Avenue Residence, known as "1760," located between East 97th and 98th Streets. The residence hall features secure, air-conditioned, double and triple rooms with private bathrooms. There is 24-hour front desk security and ID card access to enter the building and rooms.
Summer Conference Assistants (SCAs) are present in the residence hall during the Summer Fashion Immersion Program. SCAs are similar to Residence Advisors (RAs) meaning they work with the students staying in housing, but SCAs are hired to work specifically with the Summer Immersion students. They hold evening office hours from 7pm – 11pm. A professional LIM College staff member is also on-call every evening in case of emergencies. There are weekday evening and weekend organized activities coordinated by the SCAs that students are encouraged to attend. There is a shared kitchen on the lobby level of the residence hall and all rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, freezer and microwave.
