All In-Person Classes will take place REMOTELY March 22 – March 26
As of today, the CDC is still strongly advising Americans to avoid unnecessary travel due to the increased likelihood of transmission (CDC Travel Information). While we reminded the LIM Community prior to our Spring Break about the risks associated with unnecessary travel and the potential impact on the safety and health of the LIM Community, we cannot be 100% certain that everyone adhered to LIM’s Shared Responsibility throughout Spring Break.
As a result, we have made the decision to move ALL IN-PERSON Classes to a Remote Learning Environment for the week of Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26. It is truly in the best interest of our entire community as an extra safety precaution.
We have worked together successfully since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic to offer LIM students the flexibility they deserved in choosing how to take their classes. Our community has worked hard to adhere to robust testing protocols and as a result, we have been able to do what most colleges could not…namely return to in-person classes throughout the fall and spring terms. This extra pre-caution is designed to enable us to finish out the spring semester in the safest possible manner.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation. In-Person Classes will resume as regularly scheduled beginning on Monday, March 29, 2021.
