Learn About Japanese Fashion and Culture: March 24

Join us for a unique international event!
On Monday, March 24 at 4:30 p.m. in FashionOpolis, students from Bunka Fashion Graduate University will give presentations on Japanese fashion and culture.
These students are visiting LIM College as part of our participation in the prestigious Kakehashi Project.
The presentation topics are:
*Otaku (Geek) Culture in Japan
*The Influence of Traditional Japanese Events and Costumes on Modern Fashion
*The Role of the Japanese Culture of Compassion in Fashion and Business
*The Importance of Traditional Techniques in Modern Japanese Manufacturing
A Q&A will follow the presentations. Come prepared to ask questions about what's happening on the Japanese fashion scene. And check out the Bunka students' work on Facebook.
