Lexington Line to Celebrate Launch of Fall 2020 Issue
December 3, 2020

In keeping with a years-long tradition, LIM’s student-run magazine, The Lexington Line, will host a launch party to celebrate the hard work that went into this semester’s issue.
Other than an onsite fashion shoot, much of the work in putting together this edition was done remotely amid the rules and regulations related to the pandemic. The theme of the issue is deliberately being kept secret, so anyone interested in the reveal will have to attend the virtual launch on December 3 at 6 pm.
When asked what readers could expect from the Fall 2020 issue, Editor in Chief Erica Fouts said, “We knew we had to do something big—conceptually speaking—this semester, in response to the insanity of 2020. Plus, this is the last season for a bunch editors and directors, so we wanted to go out with a bang and show the next era of Lexington Line leaders that there’s no cap on creativity.”
She continued, “With this edition, we aim to capture the essence of 2020, from what came out of isolation, to American divisiveness. I’m so proud of our team for adapting to a remote format, while we were coping with the stress that came with this year. And I can’t wait to see how the next generation is going to make The Lexington Line their own.”
Now in its sixth year—and developed shortly after the start of LIM's Fashion Media major—The Lexington Line presents hands-on opportunities for students interested in all aspects of fashion media, including writing, editing, styling, forecasting, photography, modeling, beauty, accessories, marketing, set design, graphic design, and more.
The launch party is open to all who want to celebrate the students’ work. To receive the link to the event, RSVP here.
