LIM College’s 72nd Annual Student Fashion Show, titled "GENURBAN" will be held at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum (West 46th St. and 12th Ave.) on Friday, April 15 at 7:20 pm. Fashion publicist, TV personality and author Kelly Cutrone will serve as the celebrity guest host.
Presented by LIM’s Fashion Show Production Club, this year’s show will offer a progressive and conceptual commentary on society through fashion and will be streaming live on our website. This must-attend evening, which regularly draws an audience of over 1,000, will feature more than 40 models, reflecting the diverse student body of LIM College.
“GENURBAN” represents the millennial generation and how to react to the environment we’ve built from the ground up,” says LIM professor and Event Director Terance Coffee. “The Fashion Show Production Club students have designed this unique runway event to celebrate the diversity and innovations that our city has to offer.”
The LIM College Dance Team will open the show with a special performance highlighting soundtracks that emphasize the beat of our modern generation, which will be echoed in the high-tech set of a millennial's apartment covered in textiles donated by show sponsor Zarin Fabrics.
