President Elizabeth S. Marcuse and BRAG Co-President Shawn OutlerLIM College President Elizabeth S. Marcuse received BRAG's Fashion Leadership Award for her outstanding accomplishments and commitment to diversity and inclusion in education for the business of fashion at the 48th Annual BRAG Scholarship and Awards Gala, held on October 19 at The Edison Ballroom.

BRAG is a non-profit organization that prepares and educates professionals, entrepreneurs and students of color for executive leadership positions in the retail, fashion and related industries.

Each year at their Scholarship and Awards Gala, BRAG recognizes the achievements of exceptional individuals in the fashion, retail and related industries who are redefining the business of retail and fashion and whose work aligns with BRAG’s mission. Scholarships are also awarded to high-potential students with demonstrated financial need.

In addition to President Marcuse, this year's honorees were Balmain Managing Director Shawn Pean and Bloomingdale's Vice President of Integrated Marketing Kevin Harter. Previous BRAG award winners include Iman, Sean “Diddy” Combs, British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enniful, and former Macy’s CEO and Chairman Terry Lundgren.

Led by Co-President Shawn Outler (a member of LIM’s Fashion Industry Advisory Board), BRAG is an important partner of LIM College. There has been a chapter of BRAG on campus since 2007, providing students with numerous scholarship, mentoring, networking, internship and employment opportunities.
