“Careers in retail offer college graduates the opportunity to use their unique skillsets from the beginning of their careers and put their studies to work managing and developing real-life solutions, such as building Apps and e-commerce platforms, providing ideas for marketing and advertising campaigns and even analyzing the organization’s finances and accounting processes. This scholarship is a great starting point for any student wishing to be a part of an industry that offers diverse and rewarding career paths,” continued Davis.

Retail’s BIG Show Student Program put students, including Biancha, in a room with executives behind the retail industry's most popular brands such as Belk Inc., HSNi, Tiffany & Co., Trunk Club, and Julep Beauty Inc. These students receive career advice from retail recruiters offering opportunities for internships, training programs and entry-level career positions.

The NRF Foundation shapes retail’s future by building awareness of the industry through statistics and stories; developing talent through education, experiences and scholarships; and fostering career growth among people who work in retail.
