LIM Faculty to Speak at Supply Chain Forum
September 17, 2019
LIM College professors Michael P. Londrigan and Andrea Kennedy will be featured speakers at PI Apparel’s Supply Chain Forum in New York City on September 17.
The Supply Chain Forum will bring together major players in the fashion, apparel, and footwear industries to discuss the opportunities and challenges emerging digital technologies present on the entire end-to-end supply chain.
Professor Londrigan will lead a roundtable discussion titled “The Digital Skill Deficit and Making Supply Chain Careers More Attractive to Students.” It will be an interactive session that will address what academic institutions must do to prepare students for positions in an industry with an increasingly digitized supply chain.
Professor Kennedy will take part in a panel discussion on “How to More Suitably Adopt Sustainability Models Across Production and Distribution.”
Industry veteran Londrigan is the co-author of the textbook Fashion Supply Chain Management (Fairchild Books, 2018). He has also developed courses for LIM’s master’s degree program in Global Fashion Supply Chain Management. Professor Kennedy is a certified leader in the Climate Reality Leadership Corps and spearheads LIM College’s annual Sustainability Summit.
