LIM Student Awarded $5,000 Scholarship from Candy Company

LIM College junior Erin Jacobsen was recently awarded a $5,000 scholarship from Illinois-based candy manufacturing company Ferrara Candy Co. As part of the company’s first USA Scholarship Program, 10 scholarships were offered to children of Ferrara employees. The winners were determined by an application process and an essay.

Erin, who is from Batavia, Illinois, is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Fashion Merchandising with a track in Retail Buying & Planning. She completed an internship with Ferrara in the summer of 2016 as a research and development intern. She then went on to do a buying internship at Paul Stuart and is currently a product development intern at Victoria’s Secret. Erin will study abroad at the Paris School of Business via an LIM program this fall.
