LIM's Career and Internship Services Featured in Article for Recruiting Professionals

LIM TownhouseThe National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) recently published an article highlighting LIM College's Career and Internship Services offerings.

NACE interviewed Andrew Seguel, LIM's Senior Associate Director for Career Education and Coaching. In the piece, Seguel addresses the role his team plays in aiding students' professional growth and discusses how the experiential education components of LIM’s curriculum are starting to incorporate NACE competency development standards.

“We are a service-providing department that offers career coaching, but we are also an academic department with the career education component because our office manages the career education requirement of all students,” Seguel says in the article.

“Our hope is that since our students have three required [internship] experiences before they graduate, we can do a longitudinal study to see how the competencies of students develop from the midpoint of their first internship to the time they graduate,” he continues.

NACE is a professional association that connects college career services professionals, university relations and recruiting professionals, and business solution providers.
