Mixing Philanthropy with Fashion

During the week of April 17, the LIM College Philanthropy Club will host two guest speakers on the subject of combining philanthropy and fashion.
Jackie Kelly, a graduate of LIM College and Manager of Global Events and Philanthropy at Ann Inc., will speak on Monday, April 17 from 1:15 to 2:15 pm in Maxwell Hall in Room 4582.
The United Nations Youth Representative to the UN Department of Public Information, Dena Mekawi, will be on campus on Wednesday, April 19 at the same time and location. Dena is also the founder of Style and Resilience, a website that boosts cultural unity and aims to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Philanthropy Club promotes giving back to the community, assisting nonprofit organizations in their pursuit of helping those in need, as well as further bringing generosity and responsibility into the fashion industry.
