More than 80 LIM Students Inducted into Delta Mu Delta
April 19, 2018
On April 18, more than 80 LIM College students were inducted into the College’s chapter of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business. To be eligible to join Delta Mu Delta, students must be in the top 20 percent of their class with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. This year’s induction ceremony was held at the New York Institute of Technology Auditorium.
The evening’s keynote speaker was Kristi Sloe (’96), Vice President of Product Development for COTY. She was also inducted into Delta Mu Delta as an honorary member, along with Dr. Anahu Guzman, Associate Chair of the Arts & Sciences department and Director of the Math Center.
Sloe told the new Delta Mu Delta members and assembled guests, “I learned that success is defined by finding a career that you love, not by the money you make or the fame it brings. Success comes with the willingness to put hard work and effort into your career because it is what makes you happy.”
