SPRING '18 VISUAL MERCHANDISING CAPSTONE PRESENTATIONS
May 11, 2018
On May 11, seniors in LIM College’s Visual Merchandising program presented their Capstone projects to a panel comprised of LIM faculty and industry professionals. The theme for the presentations was sustainability.
Teams, made up of three to five students, developed and proposed strategies for sustainable business practices within a cross-media context. Some digital components included branded apps and animated websites utilizing logo designs and personalized video footage. Groups also constructed physical “pop-ups” to create compelling visual branding and merchandise their concepts.
Among the projects were concepts for organic cosmeceuticals for the face and body, as well as an online service to repurpose and upcycle customized, gender-neutral denim apparel.

- Bonnie Mackay, LIM College Fashion Industry Advisory Board Member and Owner of Bonnie Mackay Consulting
- Kohzy Koh, Product Strategy Manager, Intersection Co.
- Alison Knabbe (’16), Assistant Manager, Global Creative Environments, Coach
- Urvi Tiwari, Retail Financial and Accounting Analyst
