LIM College's Spring 2019 Career Conference takes place on Thursday, April 11. This signature event, held by the Department of Experiential Education & Career Management, aims to develop LIM students’ professional skills in order to aid them in their job search. This spring's Conference is open to LIM alumni as well.

Keynote Speaker: Alexis Michaelides, LIM Class of 2012, Director of Strategic Business Planning at American Express
At the Conference, industry experts will drive focused discussions through a series of speed-learning sessions. Session topics include How to Negotiate, How to Get Promoted, and How to Prepare and Deliver a Presentation. Following the guided discussions, breakout student groups will connect on key takeaways and continue their conversations in a final wrap-up networking session.
About our Keynote Speaker
Alexis Michaelides graduated as the valedictorian of LIM’s Class of 2012, with a BBA in Marketing and a concentration in Visual Merchandising. Since graduating, she has gained experience across traditional retail, sports and entertainment, and financial services, in both buying and marketing functions. She is currently a Director of Strategic Business Planning at American Express for Membership Rewards, the brand’s global loyalty program. She is also an active LIM alumna, serving as an Alumni Mentor for First Year Experience courses and a regular panelist for prospective, new, and graduating student seminars.
