behno is an advanced contemporary womenswear label designed in NYC, but made in India. behno believes in a space where ethical thinking and luxury design meet. behno’s mission is to redefine and bring awareness to the character of “made in India” and to set a new standard for Indian factory manufacturing that improves the quality of life and safety of women in the garment trade.
About Study New York
After 10 years designing menswear and womenswear in both Canada and the U.S., Tara St. James launched the New York-based label Study NY. Conceptual design & sustainability define this women's RTW brand. Study cuts and sews collections in NYC’s garment district using both ethical fabrics and production methods. Many elements from the collections collaborate with artisans around the world — for example, locally sourced Peruvian alpaca is used in much of the knitwear.
All LIM students, faculty and staff are welcome. Pizza will be provided.
