About Iman Oubou
Iman Oubou is a Moroccan-American self-made entrepreneur, published scientist, and former beauty queen who is on a mission to change the women's media landscape.

Through her diverse experience with business, pageantry, and STEM, Iman noticed gender disparities in the workforce and an omnipresent bias in how women are represented in print and digital media, which inspired her to launch SWAAY, a digital platform highlighting stories of female leaders challenging the status-quo, and championing the voices of female changemakers through substantive and inspiring content.

Iman’s syndicated podcast, Women Who SWAAY, was number two on iTunes in 2015 and was ranked in the top five best podcasts for women entrepreneurs by Inc. Magazine. In 2018, CIO Magazine named Iman the number one “Female Entrepreneur to Watch,” and she also became the first “Visage Du Maroc” (Face of Morocco), for a new initiative uplifting female voices in Morocco and across the Middle East. She has been a keynote speaker at Harvard’s Women In Business conference, and she was part of the first ever all-female judging panel at the Miss Universe pageant.
