About
Jeanine Polizzi is the Interim Dean of Graduate Studies at LIM College and a graduate professor specializing in marketing, branding, luxury business, and strategic management. She brings more than 20 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing communications, curriculum development, and higher education, helping bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice.
At LIM College, Jeanine has played a key role in advancing graduate education through curriculum innovation, experiential learning, and industry engagement. She contributed to the development of the MBA in Global Luxury Brand Management and co-created the THREAD (Transformative Hands-on Real-world Experiential Academic Development) Program, which integrates live client projects into graduate coursework and connects students with executives, brands, and organizations across the fashion and lifestyle industries. She also co-founded the THREAD Graduate Capstone Showcase, helped relaunch the Graduate Speaker Series, and has led the development and redesign of graduate marketing courses. Beyond the classroom, she collaborates with industry partners to bring professional learning experiences to campus, including programming connected to New York Tech Week and Climate Week, providing students with direct access to emerging trends, thought leaders, and real-world business challenges.
Jeanine's teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that students learn best through collaboration, critical thinking, and applied problem-solving. Her courses emphasize strategic thinking, design thinking, real-world consulting projects, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence to prepare students for leadership in the global fashion marketplace. In recognition of her commitment to student learning and innovation in the classroom, she was honored with LIM College's Teaching Excellence Award.
An active scholar and speaker, Jeanine presents at academic and industry conferences on branding, design thinking, experiential learning, artificial intelligence in the classroom, and the future of higher education. Her work explores how industry collaboration and emerging technologies can transform graduate education and prepare students for the evolving business landscape. She also shares insights through her weekly Marketing Minute series, translating current marketing trends and emerging technologies into practical strategies for students, educators, and industry professionals.
