What’s your favorite part of being an Admissions Counselor?
Interacting with international students on a daily basis and recruiting in other countries. This position has opened my eyes to new ways of thinking and taught me so much about the world.
Have you attended school outside of the U.S.?
I spent a year studying Italian language at La Universita Per Stanieri Di Perugia in Perugia, Italy
Advice for applicants:
For the interview, channel your nerves into excitement. The interview is my favorite part of the application process and I look forward to meeting you!
What’s your favorite place to eat in NYC?
Eataly is one of my favorite places to grab a bite or buy some authentic Italian kitchen staples. It reminds me of my years living in Perugia.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to visit Japan during cherry blossom season. Watch the time-lapse videos on YouTube of blossoming trees in Tokyo, Kyoto, and around Mt. Fuji and then you’ll understand why I want to go!

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was most worried about making sure to choose the right College that was the best fit for me. Once I toured and visited my College, I knew it was right for me. I always suggest that my students come visit campus if they are able to.
What’s one piece of advice you would give applicants?
Utilize your resources! We are here to help!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
I would love to travel to Greece, it has always been on my bucket list.
What are you listening to right now?
I prefer podcasts over music which is a very unpopular opinion. I love any podcast that has to do with pop culture.

Pizza and bagels (only from Brooklyn)

What do you like most about LIM College?
As an alumna, I can personally speak about the networking opportunities and internship experiences LIM offers. They are second to none. Through LIM I found amazing opportunities like volunteering at shows during fashion week, and my dream senior co-op at MTV networks. I also loved the small class sizes and amazing professors that brough firsthand knowledge to the classroom.
What do you like most about working in the Admissions Office?
I love speaking with the students, learning about their interests and career goals, and assisting them through the application process.

Finland to see the Northern Lights.

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was most worried about ensuring that I was making the best decision for myself and finding a college that best fit me and my style of learning and growing. I overcame this fear by heavily researching and visiting all the schools I was interested in to best narrow down my choice.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
A quick tip for applicants—don't be scared to utilize your admissions counselor during your application process. We are here to help you from the moment you start your app all the way through until you sit for classes on campus!
What's your favorite TikTok account?
My favorite TikTok account is @landmarksofny which is an account dedicated to showing off all of the history NYC has to offer.
If you could be a contestant on a reality show, which one would it be?
I would love to go on Jeopardy one day, my family played it every night growing up.

I was worried about where my friends were applying to. College is about expanding your horizons, joining clubs and organizations on campus, and meeting new people.

Take your time with your application and don’t forget to breathe.

I get to engage with students from the forefront and create that special bond and moment while guiding them from the start to being accepted.
Advice for applicants:
Before choosing a school ask what the school offers that can propel my career instead of going to a school just for the name.
What’s the last show you binge-watched?
Still binging Greys anatomy. It’s long but it keep you drawn in wanting to know what’s going to happen next.
Who is your style inspiration?
I am very much fashion forward. I like to go off the street casual but with a gentleman’s touch. Style to me is about confidence and what the outfit you have on speaks to who you are in the moment.

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was worried about ending up somewhere and struggling to find community. Turns out most students are worried about that, so it was a lot easier than I imagined! I also joined clubs on campus which helped me meet people and get more involved.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
Feel free to add anything to your application that shows us more of who you are outside of just a standard transcript!

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
When applying to colleges, my biggest concern was going away and not being close to my family. I had never been away from them, and the thought was terrifying. I found that the more I got involved on campus, the less homesick I was! The relationships you establish in college quickly become your family too. Put yourself out there, join all the clubs and organizations you can; it will all be worth it.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
This is your time to shine! Don’t be afraid to be yourself. LIM is a welcoming, diverse and amazing community, and we cannot wait to get to know you better!!
What’s the last show you binge-watched? How was it?
How to Get Away with Murder on Netflix. The twists and turns in every single episode are *chefs kiss*. If you have not watched it yet, run, don’t walk!
What’s your favorite food/place to eat in NYC?
Too many! I think right now my favorite must be ViV Thai in Hell’s Kitchen. If you love spice, Thai food, and a fun vibe, this is absolutely the place to go.

What do you like most about LIM College?
I love that LIM College requires students to do internships. This lets you learn by doing and helps you become successful in the fashion business.
When you were applying to colleges, what were you most worried about?
I was worried that my high school grades and standardized test scores wouldn’t be good enough. However, with advice and encouragement from my Guidance Counselor and my parents I achieved my dream of getting into college.

If possible, plan a visit to tour LIM College and meet with faculty, staff, and current students to find out if it’s the right fit for you.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’m very interested in traveling to Croatia one day to explore medieval castles and ancient architecture and enjoy the Mediterranean climate along the coast.
If you could be a contestant on a reality show, which one would it be?
Amazing Race. I’m an adrenaline junkie and love adventure. I also love traveling internationally, so it would be the best of both worlds for me.
