What’s your favorite part of being an Admissions Counselor?
Interacting with international students on a daily basis and recruiting in other countries. This position has opened my eyes to new ways of thinking and taught me so much about the world.
Have you attended school outside of the U.S.?
I spent a year studying Italian language at La Universita Per Stanieri Di Perugia in Perugia, Italy

For the interview, channel your nerves into excitement. The interview is my favorite part of the application process and I look forward to meeting you!
What’s your favorite place to eat in NYC?
Eataly is one of my favorite places to grab a bite or buy some authentic Italian kitchen staples. It reminds me of my years living in Perugia.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to visit Japan during cherry blossom season. Watch the time-lapse videos on YouTube of blossoming trees in Tokyo, Kyoto, and around Mt. Fuji and then you’ll understand why I want to go!

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was most worried about making sure to choose the right College that was the best fit for me. Once I toured and visited my College, I knew it was right for me. I always suggest that my students come visit campus if they are able to.
What’s one piece of advice you would give applicants?
Utilize your resources! We are here to help!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
I would love to travel to Greece, it has always been on my bucket list.
What are you listening to right now?
I prefer podcasts over music which is a very unpopular opinion. I love any podcast that has to do with pop culture.

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was most worried about not getting accepted into my top choice. I overcame that concern by working hard and believing in myself.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
Often the most difficult part of a journey is taking the first step. Believe in yourself!
Who is your style inspiration? Why?
Classic with a little edge. Think Jackie Kennedy or Audrey Hepburn with a McQueen handbag. I like looking toward women I admire and adopting elements of their style.

Right now, it’s Bad Roman in Columbus Circle.

What do you like most about LIM College?
As an alumna, I can personally speak about the networking opportunities and internship experiences LIM offers. They are second to none. Through LIM I found amazing opportunities like volunteering at shows during Fashion Week, and my dream Senior Co-op internship at MTV Networks. I also loved the small class sizes and amazing professors that brought firsthand knowledge to the classroom.
What do you like most about working in Admissions?
I love speaking with the students, learning about their interests and career goals, and assisting them through the application process.

What do you like most about LIM College?
I like the community that is present within LIM. Everyone has a goal, a mission, and a drive to see themselves be where they want to be in life, but also wanting that for others. Also, of course I may be biased... but being in the heart of NYC with everything it has to offer!
When you were applying to colleges, what were you most worried about?
I was worried about the affordability and making new friends. I applied for financial aid and made sure I applied right when the applications opened. For friendships, I broke out of my shell a little, but also stayed true to myself and gravitated toward those that I felt good about.
Advice for applicants:
College is everything you make it out to be. Explore everything that your college and city has to offer. Watch YouTube videos, TikToks, Instagram Reels, etc. Picture yourself in the space, I promise you will not regret it!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Switzerland. It’s just so beautiful so that’s definitely on my bucket list

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was mostly concerned about the cost of tuition. After researching need-based scholarships, I ended up qualifying for the Educational Opportunity Fund Scholarship at The College of New Jersey, which ended up giving me 2 years of college for free (dorming included) in addition to an annual $5000 scholarship for Junior and Senior year, in addition to the Federal and State financial aid. I finished college with a total of $1,400 in debt.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
Your education is an investment and can be the tool that you use to change your life. Networking with your fellow students does not have to feel corporate or forced, just be friendly and be yourself. Maintain a balance of passion and practicality.
What’s your favorite food/place to eat in NYC?
My favorite place to eat in NYC has to be Xian Famous Foods. Their lamb cumin burger and lamb cumin hand stretched noodles are so good.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Australia, Brazil or South Africa. I just want to experience the reversed seasons as they are in the Southern Hemisphere.

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was most concerned with finding the right field for me. I was able to start LIM majoring in Merchandising and switching to Marketing once I realized that I was most interested in that field. LIM is great at giving students the opportunity to experience different classes that ultimately lead to you finding out what is right for you.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
The best advice I could give is to visit the school and attend our events, it’s so important to really see what the school has to offer and how great the LIM community really is.
What’s your favorite food/place to eat in NYC?
The Thai Diner, their fried rice is better than any Thai place I’ve ever tried.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would travel to Japan for Nintendo world, the food, and all the Hello Kitty places.

Before choosing a school, ask what the school offers that can propel your career instead of going to a school just for the name.
What’s the last show you binge-watched?
Still binging Grey's Anatomy. It’s long, but it keeps you drawn in wanting to know what’s going to happen next.
Who is your style inspiration?
I am very much fashion forward. I like to go off the street casual, but with a gentleman’s touch. Style to me is about confidence, and the outfit you have on speaks to who you are in the moment.

When you were applying to college, what were you most worried about?
I was worried about ending up somewhere and struggling to find community. Turns out most students are worried about that, so it was a lot easier than I imagined! I also joined clubs on campus which helped me meet people and get more involved.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
Feel free to add anything to your application that shows us more of who you are outside of just a standard transcript!

What do you like most about LIM College?
I love working with all the diverse people here at LIM!
When you were applying to colleges, what were you most worried about?
I was worried about choosing a school that fit me the best. Initially, I was not interested in going to a large school as I felt like I would get lost in the crowd. But I chose my school due to them having a great program. To make myself feel as if I was not lost in the crowd, I made myself more involved with my professors and made sure to be proactive about any issues I was having.
What's one piece of advice you would give to applicants?
While choosing the right school and program is extremely important, so is networking! Make sure to make plenty of friends within and out of your major as you never know where your career will take you.
What’s your favorite food/place to eat in NYC?
My favorite place is a Cuban restaurant called Guantanamera.
Who is your style inspiration?
Prince- I think the way he pushed boundaries with how he dressed had a significant impact on the fashion industry. Prince was the first person I looked to as a child and could see myself imitating.

What do you like most about LIM College?
I love that LIM College requires students to do internships. This lets you learn by doing and helps you become successful in the fashion business.
When you were applying to colleges, what were you most worried about?
I was worried that my high school grades and standardized test scores wouldn’t be good enough. However, with advice and encouragement from my Guidance Counselor and my parents I achieved my dream of getting into college.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’m very interested in traveling to Croatia one day to explore medieval castles and ancient architecture and enjoy the Mediterranean climate along the coast.
If you could be a contestant on a reality show, which one would it be?
Amazing Race. I’m an adrenaline junkie and love adventure. I also love traveling internationally, so it would be the best of both worlds for me.
