This is an opportunity for new international students to meet each other and connect with others in the LIM community. LIM staff and International Student Peer Mentors will facilitate discussion regarding academic and student life at LIM College.

Affirmations Activity: Write a positive affirmation, place it into a basket, then pick out and read a positive affirmation written by one of your fellow incoming students.

DIY Tote Bags: Personalize your new LIM College tote with stylish iron-on fabric patches, to create a unique and customized look.

During this virtual event, you will hear from a current International student, our Career and Internship Staff and LIM College Graduate Admissions. You will learn how 95% of our 2024 graduates launched their careers within six months. We will answer why LIM is a top choice for serious students who want to network and gain industry exposure.

Buddy Matchmaking: Find a partner among the other new students in attendance, who shares your goals and commitments. Stay in touch over the summer and when the semester begins, and keep engaging to stay on track with academic and personal goals.

All new graduate students are encouraged to attend this robust and informative morning event, where you’ll meet other incoming students and connect with LIM faculty and staff. You’ll learn how to utilize our college resources to be academically and socially successful, while completing your graduate program.

(Please note that if you're coming in as an international graduate student, you should attend for both Graduate New Student Orientation and International New Student Orientation on this day!)

This is where incoming students will learn all about the international experience at LIM College and in New York City. You'll meet other incoming international and exchange students and receive tips on how to make the most of your time at LIM as rewarding and unforgettable as possible. All new international students are required to attend.

(Please note that if you're coming in as an international graduate student, you should attend for both Graduate New Student Orientation and International New Student Orientation on this day!)

Here is where you'll learn about the support and resources our school offers in order to ensure students have a successful transition. You’ll hear tips for academic success, learn about student clubs and organizations, as well as gaining important insights into our community and the closeness that we foster in the middle of The Big Apple.

 

This event for the parents and families of incoming LIM students will feature information about resources the school offers to support students through their transition to our College.
