Undergraduate (Associate and Bachelor's Degrees) Online Admissions Checklist
- To be considered for admission, you must submit the completed online application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee or approved fee waiver. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
- Official transcripts should be submitted from all high schools and/or colleges you've attended.
- Transfer applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended regardless of whether you intend to receive credit for previous work. Transfer applicants must also submit official high school transcripts with proof of graduation or GED certificate.
- If you competed undergraduate outside of the United States, the Office of Admissions may request that your transcript be evaluated by the World Education Service, AACRAO International Education Services or another evaluation agency approved by NACES.
- The Activity Sheet gives us a deeper understanding of your work and volunteer experiences, extracurricular activities, and awards and achievements. It is not required for admissions consideration, but we strongly encourage you to submit an Activity Sheet with your application.

- You may be required to complete an admissions interview . If so, we will will contact you to schedule that interview. If you'd like to do an interview to supplement your application, you can request it by email or call (212) 310-0675.
- LIM College has a test optional policy for admission, which means you can decide whether or not to submit your SAT or ACT scores. If you choose to submit your scores, they can be used to support your application and/or they can be used to evaluate your academic placement if you decide to enroll.
- When you complete your admissions application you may indicate if and how you would like us to use the score(s) by choosing one of the following options:
- I will submit test scores and want them reviewed with my application materials.
- I will send or have sent test scores, but do not want them reviewed with my application materials.
- I will not submit scores.
We understand the transfer of your credits is an important factor in your decision to attend LIM College. Take a look at our articulation agreements and transfer guidelines or contact our Transfer Services team to learn how to maximize your transfer credits.

Graduate (Master's Degrees) Online Admissions Checklist
- To be considered for admission, you must submit an online application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee or approved fee waiver.
- You must submit an official transcript from the institution from which you hold your undergraduate degree. We also may request transcripts from all other colleges or universities you attended at the undergraduate or graduate level to make a decision about your admission.
- If you completed an undergraduate degree outside the United States, we may request that your transcript be evaluated by the World Education Service, AACRAO International Education Services, or another evaluation agency approved by NACES.
- LIM College requires applicants to submit a resume or CV demonstrating chronological work experience.
- In 250-500 words (or 1-2 pages double-spaced), please write a personal statement that addresses the following:
- Why you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree at LIM College.
- What makes you a good candidate for admission.
- What you hope to gain/learn by completing the program.
- You are required to submit one letter of recommendation from an academic or work-related reference. This letter should demonstrate insight into your teamwork, leadership, communication, intellectual and interpersonal skills and abilities, as well as your level of maturity, and strengths and weaknesses.
- You can follow the steps in the online application to prompt your references to submit their letter of recommendation, or the reference can email their letter of recommendation to LIMOnline@limcollege.edu. directly, stating in the email who their attached letter is for.
- A personal interview is required for master's degree programs.
- Note: Once you've reached the interview step in the application process, a link will be emailed to you to register for an interview time slot.
- International applicants whose native language is not English must submit TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System), or PTE (Pearson Test of English) scores.
