Our midtown Manhattan campus puts you in the center of everything and offers unparalleled opportunities for internships and networking.
Common Questions
We define “international students” as those who require a student visa to attend LIM College and/or have attended school outside the U.S. (Chinese students should visit us on Weibo for more information.)
LIM has a rolling admissions policy. This means you can submit your application up until the beginning of the semester. However, we strongly recommend that international students submit their application as early as possible, to allow sufficient time for a visa to be issued.
International Admissions Checklist
- To be considered for admission, you must submit the completed online application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee or approved fee waiver. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for regular admission.
High School/Secondary School Transcripts
- The minimum academic requirement for admission to LIM College for an undergraduate (associate/bachelor's) degree program is the completion of high school or secondary school. High school or secondary documentation is required even if you have completed college or university work. A transcript (record of subjects/courses and grades) and verification of graduation is required. The document(s) must represent the equivalence of high school graduation in the U.S. All documents not written in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. If your degree was completed outside of the United States, the Office of Admissions may request your transcripts be evaluated by an evaluation agency approved by NACES prior to enrollment.
Please contact your Admissions Counselor for the specific documents required.
Transfer Credits
- If you are enrolled in an undergraduate program, you must submit your official university or college transcripts for admission purposes and in order to have your records reviewed for transfer credits. If your documents are from another country, they must be submitted to an evaluation agency approved by NACES for an evaluation. All documents not written in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
*If you're currently enrolled in a degree program, you must submit a final official transcript prior to enrolling at LIM College. Please contact your Admissions Counselor for the specific documents required.
University/College Records - Graduate (Master's) Programs
- You must submit an official transcript from the institution from which you earned your undergraduate degree. We may also request transcripts from all the other colleges or universities you attended (at the undergraduate or graduate level) to make an admissions decision. If your documents are from another country, they may need to be submitted to an education credential evaluation service to determine U.S. degree and GPA equivalency. All documents not written in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation from an evaluation agency approved by NACES.
If you're currently enrolled in a degree program, you must submit a final official college transcript outlining the degree awarded prior to enrolling at LIM College.
*Please contact your Admissions Counselor for the specific documents required according to country of study.
