The second installment in LIM’s speaker series, “Nxt in Retail @ LIM”—a collaboration between the College's faculty and its Fashion Industry Advisory Board—takes place October 25.

Featuring a panel of LIM alums and Advisory Board members, this virtual event will explore the state of direct-to-consumer sales and its future outlook.

LIM Fashion Industry Advisory Board member Alan Spalter, CEO of the Retail Assistance Corporation, will moderate the session, with students Erika Parker and Marcel Smith serving as co-moderators. Both Erika and Marcel are members of LIM’s National Retail Federation Student Association chapter and part of the Class of 2022.

Together with Fashion Merchandising professor Marla Greene and Dr. Nicole Kirpalani, Associate Chair of Marketing, members of LIM’s Fashion Industry Advisory Board created this recurring event to bring industry professionals directly to students to share insights on current and future retail career paths.
