Intro Title
Proposed murals will show “the two sides of the LIM student”

Carolyn Englander, Amber Neumann, and Sarah Stansel have submitted the winning concept in LIM’s “Where Business Meets Fashion” Student Design Competition.

The competition challenged student teams to create original imagery conveying the concept “LIM College: Where Business Meets Fashion” for two centerpiece mural spaces that are part of this summer’s campus enhancement construction project at Maxwell Hall (216 East 45th St.).

Carolyn, Amber, and Sarah’s design template showed “the two sides of the LIM student” (one business-oriented, the other fashion/creative-oriented) using split figures, with LIM’s colors woven in throughout the designs.

In addition to having a large-scale installation project to add to their resumes, Carolyn, Amber and Sarah will each receive a $500 cash prize and have their names displayed with their work.
