Seeking a well-rounded fashion education while working full time, Drucilla Moody decided to earn her BBA in Fashion Management and Leadership online, with LIM. A full-time Account Planner at PVH Corp., her LIM degree program is offering her the flexibility that her work schedule requires and is setting her up for growth within the industry.

What made you choose to earn your degree online with LIM?
I currently work in the fashion industry at PVH. Wanting to excel and contribute more meaningfully to the field of fashion, I enrolled in LIM College's online bachelor's program in Fashion Management and Leadership.

What courses do you take? What are you learning in them?
This academic experience is something I truly value. Through my courses—such as Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Inclusive Leadership—I’ve gained exposure to many areas that keep the fashion industry moving, like business law, data analysis, accounting, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship, finance, and negotiation. My professors bring real industry experience into our virtual classroom, providing practical insight and networking value. They've challenged me to think beyond the surface, strengthening both my critical and creative thinking skills and already helping me in my present job role.

How have you found the online learning experience at LIM?
The online academic experience at LIM offers flexibility for me, while reflecting the same industry-rooted lessons as the on-campus program would. The recorded lectures, weekly modules, discussion boards, and project assignments can all fit into my full-time work schedule. I also benefit from LIM’s fashion industry connections, through virtual events, guest speaker opportunities, and career resources.

What would you say to a prospective student who's considering earning their LIM degree online?
While the accelerated terms and workload require solid time management, the whole experience is collaborative, career focused, and highly valuable for those looking to grow within the fashion industry.
