John Deming is a poet and journalist who has taught at LIM College since 2008. He teaches New Media: Writing, Editing and Visuals. He is also the faculty advisor for The Lexington Line, LIM’s student publication.
Prior to joining LIM, Professor Deming worked as a reporter in New Hampshire for Atlantic News, Foster’s Daily Democrat and The Telegraph.
He is the Editor-in-Chief of Coldfront magazine and has authored two chapbooks of poetry, 8 Poems (Eye for an Iris Press, 2011) and Toads (Dusie Press, 2006). His work has also appeared in dozens of other publications, including Salon.com, Boston Review, and New Orleans Review.
A member of the National Book Critics Circle, Professor Deming holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English-Journalism from the University of New Hampshire
