Nancy Miller is Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Chair of the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing Department. She oversees all degree programs and advances LIM's mission through collaboration with the Office of Career and Internship Services and the fashion industry at large. Dean Miller has authored and taught several courses within the Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Marketing majors and she also oversees Fashion Academy, LIM College’s pre-college program.
Prior to joining LIM, Dean Miller enjoyed a career that spanned more than 25 years and included work in textile sales management, apparel merchandising, and product development. Previous positions include Senior Sales Account Manager for the Royal Carolina Corporation and Waverly Textile Processing, Director of Merchandising for Dr. Denton Childrenswear, and Product Manager for Kingly/Bees & Jam, Inc.
Dean Miller holds a Master of Education degree — with a specialization in Leadership in Higher Education — from Northcentral University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Syracuse University, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta national honor society in 2008, the Alpha Beta Kappa honor society in 2023, and was the recipient of LIM College’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2009.
