Meet LIM College’s Spring 2025 Senior Co-Op All Stars

Each year, a select group of students earns the title of “Senior Co-Op All Star” in recognition of their outstanding performance both in the workplace and in the corresponding academic course. These individuals go above and beyond, demonstrating professionalism, creativity, adaptability, and leadership. 

We’re proud to introduce the Spring 2025 Senior Co-Op All Stars—nine exceptional students who made the most of their internships at some of the industry’s most respected companies: 

Macy Melancon

“My experience at Vineyard Vines was a pivotal part of my career journey. Having the opportunity to get hands-on experience and the chance to take ownership over aspects of the Allocation business has helped me gain so much confidence. Seeing how the business changes each week and taking action on my allocation strategies this semester has been so exciting. I will always be grateful to LIM and Vineyard Vines for helping me grow into a young professional.”

“I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to complete my Senior Co-Op at The Glasshouse. Not only has the entire team been extremely welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about the events industry, but I have obtained first-hand experience coordinating on some of the most exclusive and luxurious events in New York City. From various NYFW shows to the Annual Cherry Bombe Magazine Jubilee, I have seen it all at The Glasshouse and I am immensely thankful for my time here thus far!” 

Khyaara Grant

“My time at Black Dog 8 Showroom gave me invaluable hands-on experience in the world of wholesale fashion. I learned how to maintain and merchandise a multi-brand showroom, assist during buyer appointments, manage inventory, and support the backend of the wholesale process through B2B platforms. One of the highlights of my experience was traveling to assist during Chicago Men's Market Week, where I observed the fast-paced nature of sales, relationship-building, and the high level of negotiation that goes into securing retail partnerships. This opportunity helped solidify my passion for the intersection of fashion, business, and visual storytelling.”

“This internship was fun yet demanding. I learned that you need to be confident in your abilities, and you are in complete control of how engaged you are in your work—including how proactive you are. I find that being proactive and taking initiative even when you are doubting yourself can open doors for you and give you the ability to learn and perfect skills.”

“This experience was everything I hoped for—exciting, insightful, and just the right amount of hectic to keep things interesting. Getting a real look at what goes into campaign production was eye-opening (and let’s just say… it’s not all as glamorous as it looks, but ten times cooler). If there’s one thing that kept me going, it was the amazing teamwork—because nothing gets done without a solid crew and a whole lot of coordination. Huge thanks to my managers for guiding me every step of the way, to LIM for preparing me to succeed, and most of all, to God, for His provision, grace, and wisdom that’s carried me through it all.”
