Career Outcomes Rate Methodology

LIM College’s Career Outcomes Rate is 96% for graduates who earned an associate, bachelor's or master's degree in January 2022, May 2022 or August 2022. In accordance with guidelines set forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Career Outcomes Rate is calculated using statistical career data collected to determine the number of surveyed graduates who are employed, seeking employment, have other plans, or continuing their education within six months of graduation. Data was recorded for 474 out of 516 graduates. Of the graduates with known post-graduation plans and who are eligible to work in the United States, 96% of the Class of 2022 were working in the business of fashion and lifestyle or continuing their education within six months of graduation, (94% employed, 2% continuing education, 3% seeking employment and 1% with other plans), representing a 92% knowledge rate. Of the associate degree recipients, 100% were working in the business of fashion and lifestyle within six months of graduation (100% employed). Of the bachelor's, 94% were working in the business of fashion and lifestyle or continuing their education within six months of graduation, (92% employed, 4% continuing education, 4% seeking employment, 1% other). Of the master's, 96% of graduates who were eligible to work in the U.S. and sought employment after graduation were working in the business of fashion and lifestyle or continuing their education within six months of graduation, (96% employed, 4% other).
