The LIM Prize was recently presented to ESMOD France student designer Satine Anzemberger (ANZEM), whose collection Passage was presented on the runway at the 2026 ESMOD Lyon fashion show earlier this summer. Satine is a member of the ESMOD Fashion Design Class of 2026.
As part of the award, Satine will travel to New York City in April 2027 to present her collection at LIM College’s annual fashion show.
Satine’s work is noted for being at the intersection of contemporary fashion, artisanal luxury and conceptual design, with an emphasis on textile research, experimentation, and narrative.
She describes the Passage collection as a starting point in the development of her emerging designer identity and a direct expression of her creative DNA. Inspired by her personal journey, the collection explores travel and transformation, both physical and psychological, moving through different stages of life: origins, construction, rupture, and the unknown.
“I am truly honored to receive the LIM Prize, and incredibly grateful for this opportunity. I am looking forward to presenting my collection in New York next year and continuing this exciting journey,” said Satine.
According to LIM College President Ron Marshall, who presented the award to Satine at the show in Lyon along with LIM College Board of Directors member Katy Marshall, “Selecting a single winner from among the immense talent, creativity, and innovation of the ESMOD students was incredibly difficult. Each designer’s work reflected remarkable craftsmanship and personal passion. Satine’s line stood out for its unique artistic perspective, elevated tailoring, and innovative use of textiles and materials.”
Noted Marshall, “The LIM Prize highlights the growing collaboration between LIM and ESMOD to create global opportunities for emerging fashion talent. We look forward to expanding on this exciting partnership with even more opportunities going forward.”
