Intro Title
For the sixth consecutive year, The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Week issue contains a special insert conceived and produced by LIM's Fashion Media students.

The team of ten students also work together on The Lexington Line, the College's student-run magazine, and have a passion for the editorial world.

To create this special edition of The Daily, the LIM team did research, conducted interviews, wrote articles, and worked closely with magazine’s staff editors. Students also had the valuable opportunity to interview designer Jeremy Scott and luxury fashion consultant Roopal Patel.

"Every insert typically has a very clear theme,” says Erica Fouts, Editor-in-Chief of this year’s Daily Front Row: LIM College Student Edition. “For this issue, we decided to focus on nostalgia because we feel it's a dominating feature within the industry right now. Between fashion that references the 80s and 90s, reboots of shows from our childhood, obsessions with older music, and more, we see ourselves reaching for the past in more ways than one."

A favorite memory that Erica and Managing Editor Claire Charlton shared was of their “man on the street” article, for which they asked strangers various questions based on the nostalgia theme. “Everybody loves Britney Spears,” Erica laughed as she recalled the experience.

Following is a list of the 2020 team members and their roles:

  • Erica Fouts: Editor-in-Chief

  • Claire Charlton: Managing Editor

  • Nicol Maciejewska: Editorial Director

  • Pamela Kivi, Kimberly Richman, Christina Vartanian: Fashion Editors
