Please tell us about your experience in your online degree program.
Being part of the online BBA in Fashion Marketing program was an absolute dream! I joined LIM as a transfer student, and the transition was smooth and seamless. The staff was just an email away if I had questions, and everyone was always so kind and eager to help me out.

Most of my business classes were highly focused on what was going on in the industry. By the time I graduated, I knew exactly what was going on in the field I dreamed to work in. What I valued most about being an LIM student was knowing that I would forever be part of a supportive community I can always turn back to. Whether that’s the amazing Handshake job portal or personally with the community and care of advisors.

What are you currently doing professionally?
I am working in Influencer Marketing as part of the Public Relations team for the online fashion boutique Princess Polly. My job entails relationship management with my clients and their agents, along with attending events hosted by our PR team. I’m also responsible for analyzing data to keep track of how profitable our social media collaborations were, such as the performance of discount codes promoted by the Instagram and TikTok influencers we work with.

In what ways did your LIM program help prepare you for the work you’re currently doing?
I would have never expected it, but every single Microsoft Excel-based class was a huge part of why I was able to be promoted at Princess Polly! In less than six months, I was promoted from PR Assistant to PR Associate. My job is a lot more analytical than it is creative, and the Fashion Marketing BBA program really helped to prepare me for that. I was never much of an analytical person before, but once I finished my degree and started working, it truly emphasized how important it is to have this skill in the fashion industry, especially when it comes to Fashion Marketing.
