What's your major?

Marketing. I enjoy how everything we are taught is connected to the real world. I think this major in particular opens doors to endless career possibilities. I came to LIM because they are really concerned with making sure students have the best opportunities.

What was it like adjusting to life in NYC?

The subway was the trickiest thing in the world at first! (I can’t tell you how many times I got on the downtown train when I should have been on the uptown train.) But once I got the hang of it and learned my way around town, New York became like my second home. Now I know the city like the back of my hand, and there’s a new experience every day. I even got to meet Cindy Crawford just walking around SoHo.

What are your favorite classes?

My favorites so far are Critical Thinking and Management. I had amazing professors who made the classes engaging and fun.

What is it like to be part of the Blog Club?

The Blog Club is one of my favorite extracurriculars because it allows me to share my love for writing with others. Also, I love that we can write about anything that relates to our experiences, which makes it that much more exciting.

What do you like most about the LIM experience?

I love building my new life in New York while being able to get an education and study. LIM also offers endless opportunities for internships and volunteering, to help students build their resume.

What’s it like being a male student here?

You definitely stand out in a good way. I feel unique, being known as one of the few guys in class.

What advice would you share with students coming to LIM?

If I can offer any advice, it would be to work hard but not to lose yourself. Do your assignments ahead of time to eliminate stress. Make time for friends and parties, but school comes first. Keep your grades up. Also, allow yourself to go through rough times, don’t just throw in the towel and give up! There’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
