LIM College's 2023 Student-Produced Fashion Show took place Friday, April 21 at New York City's Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
The theme for this year's show was "Hollywood Renaissance"—a revival of vigorous artistic and intellectual endeavors. The students' production drew inspiration from one of fashion’s most evolutionary periods: Old Hollywood. It entertainingly showcased the culture, glamor, and multiple styles of Hollywood's past, present, and future, examining impacts the entertainment world has had on fashion trends throughout the decades.
This year's Show host was actor, model, motivational speaker, and philanthropist, Sergio Delavicci. His fashion industry resume includes participation in numerous major runway shows such as New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week. His humanitarian efforts reflect Delavicci's passion for giving back to the community, working with at-risk youths, women empowerment groups, as well as the "Real Men Read Initiative" promoting literacy at NYC schools.
