Virtual Fashion Show to explore challenges and triumphs, highlighting diversity
The LIM Vintage Club had the opportunity to attend the Costume Institute’s exhibition About Time: Fashion and Duration. The Met Museum held the event, which happened to be its 150th Anniversary, virtually this year due to COVID-19. Although the experience was much different than years prior, we had a wonderful time thanks to our guide, Page Knox. She led us through the virtual time-themed exhibit to see the fascinating evolution of fashion since 1870.
This sustainable dyeing is all done using natural materials commonly found in the home and in nature. As someone who enjoys the behind-the-scenes of creative processes and learning new things, I could not miss this opportunity.
