Professor John Keane became LIM College’s Chair of Graduate Studies in 2019. Prior to this, as an adjunct faculty member since 2013, he taught courses on a range of topics including marketing, strategy, brand management, public relations, new media, advertising/promotion, and global marketing.
Professor Keane has over 30 years of experience at major media companies such as Time Inc., Conde’ Nast, and Bloomberg LP. Currently, he is the Director of Research and Insights at The Internationalist, which specializes in connecting global practitioners of marketing through content and case studies.
Before joining The Internationalist, Professor Keane served as the Executive Director, Corporate Marketing and Strategy for the Bauer Media Group, overseeing marketing, brand strategy, sales development and market research for the global media company's U.S. division. His career also includes senior-level marketing positions at GQ, Gourmet and People magazines.
Professor Keane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Georgetown University and an MBA in Executive Management from St. John’s University.
