COVID-19 and the Months of Summer

Dear Staff and Faculty,

We want to thank each of you for your continued efforts and dedication to helping LIM College with remote business operations and online classes. The College is monitoring the city’s reopening developments daily, and we hope to re-open our physical locations and regroup again soon. Staff should plan to work remotely through July 31, 2020, but continue to stay tuned for future updates.

The summer months are filled with warmer temperatures and more people will plan to be outdoors, including trips to parks and beaches. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to advise the public to follow the guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Going outdoors may be great for mental and physical health, but please follow these guidelines titled Stop the Spread of Germs.

Just a few reminders:

  • 4-Day Work Weeks from June 1st through August 21st 2020: We have modified our time-off policies to ensure that we are still able to keep 4-day work weeks from June 1, 2020-August 21, 2020, while still operating 5 days a week for students’ needs.
  • In observance of Independence Day, the College will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 through Sunday, July 5, 2020 and will reopen on Monday, July 6, 2020: Please remember to set your out of office email and voicemail.
