Updating Your Password Reset Questions


LIM’s password management system manages the step by step process for activating, updating and resetting of ones LIM NetID computer account and passwords. The guides below will walk you through steps for (1) setting up your NetID account using personal cell phone and email account. (2) steps on how to update your personal information. (3) steps on how to change your NetID password. (4) ways to reset your password if you have forgotten it.

Guides include: 

  1. Set-up Password Recovery Information – I am a new student, faculty or staff. I need to register my personal cell phone and email in the event I wish to reset my NetID password, or I forgot my password.
  2. Update your security verification information – I wish to change my personal email or cell phone number, in the event I need to change or reset my NetID password.
  3. Change your LIM NetID Password – I want to change my password because it is best practices, someone knows my password and I need to change it, etc.
  4. Reset your LIM NetID password if you have forgotten it – I cannot remember my NetID password and I need to reset it using my cell phone.
