Graduates quickly launching careers throughout fashion and lifestyle.

According to the Life After LIM: Class of 2023 report recently issued by LIM College’s Office of Career and Internship Services, a record-high 97% of 2023 LIM graduates were working in the business of fashion and lifestyle or continuing their education within six months of graduation.

This report presents the early career outcomes for LIM graduates who completed their associate’s, bachelor's, or master's degrees in January, May, or August of 2023. The data is sourced from the annual Life After LIM survey administered by the Office of Career and Internship Services in partnership with the Provost, and the methodology follows the guidelines established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).*

LIM's Class of 2023 graduates secured positions at over 275 companies within the business of fashion and lifestyle. These outcomes reveal a diverse range of first destination career paths, including buying and planning, styling, supply chain, data and analytics, and more in sectors ranging from accessories, apparel, luxury, and beauty to media and entertainment, real estate, financial services, and hospitality and tourism. Key trends include an increase in marketing and merchandising roles. The inclusion of emerging industries like cannabis, tech and AI also introduced new dimensions to 2023 career outcomes.

Of the employed graduates, 57% had secured positions by graduation, 24% found employment within three months, and 19% within six months.
