Financial Aid Options

LIM College wants to be your partner in turning your dreams into reality.

That’s why we do so much to help make your degree accessible. In fact, we awarded $8 million in scholarships and grants for the 2023-24 academic year.

Let us help you access financial aid resources to make your degree affordable, so you can make a seamless transition from LIM College to your dream career.

Our Director of Financial Aid discusses the options available to students to help them cover the cost of tuition.
Apply for financial aid in three easy steps

Step 1: Complete your FAFSA

Applying for financial aid begins with filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This online form is your key to unlocking various federal aid opportunities from LIM and the federal government.

When submitting the FAFSA, be sure to use our Federal School Code (007466). This code ensures that we receive your FAFSA information.

Step 2: Submit your LIM College application

Complete your LIM College Admissions application. Once you are accepted to LIM College and we have your FAFSA information, we can send you a financial aid award letter.

Step 3: Send additional documents

Our Office of Student Financial Services may request additional documents to process your financial aid award letter. These documents are specific to your aid application and may include things like tax forms, income verification, or other supporting materials.

Federal & State Aid

The federal government offers students financial resources, including Pell Grants, subsidized and unsubsidized loans, and work-study opportunities.

Grants do not require repayment, while you must repay loans after a specified period. Work-study programs allow you to work on campus.

New York State also offers special financial aid for residents attending an in-state private college through New York State’s Tuition Assistance Program.
