Intro Title
LIM College has introduced a new program that allows international students to improve their English, study fashion in New York City, and earn credits towards their degree.

The Global Pathway to Fashion program is designed for international students who have already been accepted into an LIM degree program, but need to simultaneously strengthen their English language ability while beginning to work towards their degree.

Participants will take non-credit fashion- and business-focused English courses that will help them transition to college life in the U.S. At the same time, they will take a class that counts for credit in their master’s or bachelor’s degree program.

Says Provost Lisa Springer, “With our location in the heart of New York City and a student body comprised of citizens from approximately 40 countries, LIM College is an ideal setting for international students to learn the business of fashion. The Global Pathway to Fashion program will open up the opportunities afforded by an LIM education to even more aspiring fashion business leaders throughout the globe.”

Depending on the student’s level of English language ability, enrollment in the Global Pathway to Fashion program may be for either one or two semesters. Upon successful completion of the program, students will begin full-time coursework towards their chosen degree.
