Guiding the Industry’s Future Trailblazers

Alison Katz, an adjunct faculty member in LIM College’s Marcuse School of Graduate Studies, has worked for several well-known companies in the business of fashion and lifestyle, including Nespresso, Macy’s, Saks Off Fifth, and Anthropologie. While teaching her Marketing Metrics course, she uses many tools, including social media, to foster a strong sense of community among online students and enhance the learning experience.

Career Fair: Fall 2023

Every semester, LIM’s Virtual Career and Internship Fair enables students and alumni from around the country—and around the world—to learn about employment and internship opportunities with leading players in the business of fashion and lifestyle.

The College's Fall 2023 Fair will take place on October 24. Students can register in advance for virtual one-on-one and group sessions with recruiters to learn more about internships for the spring or Fall of 2024, as well as full-time or part-time jobs.

My Dream Come True, Working at Salvatore Ferragamo

Coming from India, Jessy has been surrounded by a diverse and inclusive environment at LIM College. Exploring New York and everything it has to offer, Jessy is now earning her master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management. Through exercising the CPT (Curricular Practical Training) benefit available to F-1 students, she is a Merchandising Intern at Salvatore Ferragamo.

As an intern at Hugo Boss, she’s taking advantage of the opportunity to do Curricular Practical Training (CPT), applying what she’s learned in her coursework to real-life workplace situations, enhancing her professional skills, and making valuable career connections.
