MASTER’S APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND CHECKLIST
1. Complete Your Application
To be considered for admissions, you must submit an online application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee or approved fee waiver. For Fall entry, applications are accepted after March 1 on a rolling basis as space permits in each degree program.
2. Send Your Transcripts
Students must submit an official transcript from the institution in which the applicant holds an undergraduate degree. We may request transcripts from all other colleges or universities attended at the undergraduate or graduate level to make an admissions decision. If an undergraduate degree was completed outside the United States, the Office of Admissions may request your transcript is evaluated by the World Education Service, AACRAO International Education Services or another evaluation agency approved by NACES.
3. Submit Your Test Scores
English Proficiency
International applicants whose native language is not English must submit TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System), or PTE (Pearson Test of English).

4. Send Your Resume
LIM College requires applicants submit a resume or CV demonstrating chronological work experience.
5. Write An Essay
Please respond to one of the following topics in a 350-500 word essay.
- Describe your specific career aspirations and your reason for pursuing a master's degree.
- Describe a career-related achievement or failure. How has this experience impacted your career?
- Discuss your commitment to, and passion for, working in the global fashion industry.
6. Provide Letter of Recommendation
Applicants are required to submit one letter of recommendation from an academic or work-related reference. The letter of recommendation should demonstrate insight into your teamwork, leadership, communication, intellectual and interpersonal skills and abilities as well as your level of maturity, strengths, and weaknesses. Applicants can follow the steps in the online application to prompt references to submit their letter of recommendation, or the reference can email their lettersof recommendation to GraduateAdmissions@limcollege.edu stating in the email who the attached letter is for.
7. Interview with Us
A personal interview is required for graduate applicants. Domestic applicants can interview in-person or over the phone. International applicants can interview in-person or via Skype and must send a picture of their photo ID beforehand.
