THE FINE PRINT
Wait. Am I actually a transfer applicant?
You are a “transfer” applicant if you are currently, or have ever been, enrolled in a college or university as a degree-seeking student. (If you have taken college courses as a non-degree student or during high school, you should apply as a freshman.)
How do I know how many of my credits will transfer?
Our Transfer Services team will help determine which of your college credits will apply towards your LIM degree (We have a generous transfer policy, so probably most or all of them!) You can also request a transfer credit evaluation right now!
What’s the application deadline?
We accept applications on a rolling basis, up to the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester until all openings are filled. However, we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible because our class sizes are limited. Once you submit all application materials, we’ll notify you of our decision within 2-4 weeks. We also offer instant admission decisions on Transfer Services Days.
In a 300-500 word essay, please provide a personal and/or academic statement that addresses your reason(s) for transferring to LIM College. In addition, address the goals you hope to achieve through an LIM College education.
To be considered for admissions, you must submit an online application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee or approved fee waiver. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for regular admissions.
Prospective transfer students are also encouraged to submit their resume as part of their application.
